In Between
What’s right and what’s left?
He is stuck in uncertainties and questions, should bes, should not be dormant — because time is ticking while people fly like they are bees, buzzing inside his head:
“There’s no more space for you.”
he says to the loud mind.
In that loud mind, he is searching for refreshments, air, and whatever eases the discomfort.
Even when he’s in the corner at parties, he is still stuck in between:
staying or going home.
“No one understands me.” he whispers to himself.
So, he takes some steps to the exit but finds a doormat: “Welcome”.
Once again he is stuck in confusion.
What’s right? The new things behind the door or the familiar things behind his back?
What’s left: still, his puzzled mind.
